Professional background
Aaron is a highly skilled professional and advisor and his extensive public practice experience both locally and internationally means he is well versed to assist you in a broad range of Accounting, Taxation and Business advisory matters. His expertise is a result of overseeing all aspects of a wide range of industries and business sizes as well as specialising in Australian and international taxation.

Aaron commenced his career in 1990 and he has been a part of our firm since 2008. Before coming to Australia Aaron worked in the UK and provided services to the Edinburgh branch of Scotland's largest privately owned Chartered Accounting firm and specialised in providing onsite and in-house consultancy services to some of the largest recognised brands in various industries along with quasi non-governmental organisations representing industry sectors at an international level. He also provided accountancy services to the largest ACCA firm in the UK based in Central London where he held a management position. Prior to working in the UK, Aaron worked in New Zealand holding a senior role within Chartered Accounting firms as well as operating his own Accounting Practice.

Professional background
Mala has a diverse professional background with extensive international public practice experience within business services and audit as well as commercial sector experience which means she is able to provide a broad range of expertise while specialising in the design, development and implementation of operational systems and procedures that significantly improve cash flows and profitability.

Mala worked in a top tier London based accountancy practice for over 12 years as a manager of the Business Services department where her clients ranged from high net worth individuals to owners of businesses in the legal, entertainment and commercial sectors. In Australia, Mala worked as a Fund Accountant for a BSX listed company before taking some time off from her career to devote her time to raising her and Aaron’s two beautiful children. Prior to joining Allen and Wood in 2020, Mala was the Chief Financial Officer for a commercial organisation.

Professional background:
Kathryn is a highly experienced Accountant with a broad range of Accounting, Taxation and Business advisory experience and she is able to provide a wide variety of services to the firm’s clients.

Kathryn obtained her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Queensland Institute of Technology (QUT) in 1993, and joined our firm in 2003. Before joining the firm she held a position as the accountant for a manufacturing company and prior to that as a senior accountant in a Chartered Accounting firm.

Membership and Qualifications:
- Certificate 2 & 3 in Business Administration

Professional background:
Sarah is the first point-of-contact at Allen & Wood.

Sarah joined our firm in 2017 and prior to this had over 15 years’ experience in Chartered Accounting firms.
